A generic map of the area including Knoxville (TN), Asheville (NC), and Greenville (SC). Definitely should have had city names above the urban areas...but alas I just realized that...Tell me what you think!
Hey! Nice map. Your city names are blurred behind the Urban area polygons, tho. How did that happen? I wonder if you moved them up in the table of contents if they'd appear on top instead of through. Also, your scale bar would show up better if you chose a heavier bar instead of the single-line style. Good colors!
Good map. I really like the transparent legend and scale bar. I do agree that at least a bolder font on the scale bar would make it stand out more. Some of the stream names could be moved or just eliminated, but overall a nice map.
Great map! I like the transparent legend box and scale box. A few things I noticed though, the city polygon is on top of the interstate symbols and city names and the state names are a little faint.
Great Map! You may want to consider arranging the scale bar and north arrow so they take up less space on the map. I really like your labeling- you were able to get all the info without making it look cluttered.

ReplyDeleteGood job. I like the states in the contrasting colors. The urban areas are a little bit hard to distinguish, mostly in SC.
